Unlike previous posts, the point of this month’s post is to focus, not on what we want, but on what we already have. There’s no doubt that it has been a couple of challenging years for everyone. We truly are living in unprecedented times, but the good thing about it is that we’re going through it together. It’s times like these that make us realize what are the truly important things in life and to make sure we take the time to truly cherish them. November is a natural month for us to reflect on this as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and pause to remember to give thanks for all that we have. That’s what we’ll be doing here at Thomas Hunn Jewelers this November. Will you join us?
Everyone has their own set of priorities in life – what is important and what is less important – but if there’s something we can all agree on, it’s that our family and friends are at the very top of the list. They have been with us through both happy and sad times and will remain right by our side going forward. Here at Thomas Hunn Jewelers, our circle of family and friends encompasses many people who you may not otherwise think of. For us, our wonderful staff and customers are a very important part of our lives and are considered to be part of the Thomas Hunn family. We’d like to thank them all for being here with us and making our days brighter. Remembering that we are part of this wonderful community is what makes everything we do worthwhile. Imagine a King with no court? What use is a great castle if there is nobody to share it with? Having our team, our family and you, our customer, friend and reader, as part of our lives, is why we come to work every day.
Thanksgiving is perhaps one of our favorite holidays as it gives us the ability to concentrate on one single thing – being grateful for what we have in our lives. We’re grateful for food, shelter and warmth, for being able to live in such an amazing community and country and for the people in our lives. Thanksgiving has both religious and secular roots, but whatever your faith or beliefs may be, the focus this month is to be mindful of the things we have, whether family, friends, knowledge, experiences, or whatever makes us all happy, and not what we don’t have.
This would usually be where we talk about how jewelry can be a way to enhance or celebrate a holiday but we don’t propose to do that this month. We simply want to let you know that we are always here to help with anything you need, so please do stop into the store or give us a call if we can be of any service. You know where to find us!
So to friends, family and loved ones, staff and customers, wherever you are: Happy Thanksgiving! Thank you for being a part of our lives and we look forward to the many happy times to come.
