We’re always pumped for the 4th July celebrations and this year is no different! It was 246 years ago that we declared to the world that we were an independent nation, but did you know that it was actually approved in a closed session of Congress on the 2nd July 1776? Imagine keeping that secret for 2 days! 

It just so happens that ruby is the birthstone for July and what better stone to celebrate the 4th with! The deep rich red of ruby is absolutely perfect to symbolize the red in our flag, and we’ve got a couple of gorgeous and creative ways to wear the colors of the flag in store and waiting for you. What about a band or a pair of drop earrings with rubies, sapphires and diamonds (ie. red, white and blue) that you can sport with pride on the big day?
