About Us

Established in 1985 by Thomas Hunn, Thomas Hunn Jewelers is the oldest jewelry store in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado. Thomas served Grand Junction and the surrounding communities as a Master Jeweler from 1985 until his retirement in 2014. We lost Thomas on June 7th, 2022, after complications from a motorcycle accident in 2017. He is dearly missed. His daughter Niki took over the business in 2014 after Thomas’ retirement. Niki has worked at Thomas Hunn Jewelers since 1991, and has been a Master Jeweler and GIA Graduate Gemologist for many years.

Niki, her husband Bob, and her son, Nick, continue the family tradition, upholding the same level of quality craftsmanship and dedication to their community. Nick joined the company after graduating from high school in May of 2014, and is currently a 10-year apprentice bench jeweler and is working toward his Graduate Gemologist degree. Bob joined the company in 2011 and now works as a journeyman bench jeweler.

With nearly 55 years of combined experience and now a third generation working at the store, we know that Thomas Hunn Jewelers will be around for years to come. As our family moves this business into the future, we strive to maintain the family tradition of quality jewelry at competitive prices.
